Background 

  • This trust was established in 1989 

  • Trust Registration No. is E-3215-Mehsana 29 May 1989.

  • Inaugurated on 20-06-1998 with blessings from Swami Shri Sachhidanandaji Maharaj          (Dantaliwala) hence forth it started its functioning regularly.                                                

This Institute comprises four departments

To the credit of this Institute, it has highly qualified and devoted staff. It is well equipped with modern Technological Instruments and its management is participatory management in its nature.

This is non-profit organization rendering humanitarian service in the critical area of Eye - health.

This is peoples organization based on participation of common people in decision making and building - up  support for programs  and activities of organizations.

This organization focuses mainly on most vulnerable section of population of North Gujarat whose 75% region is underdeveloped due to ignorance, superstition, illiteracy, malnutrition & abysmally low-quality of life-leading to wide-spread prevalence of partial & total blind-ness - Glaucoma, Cataract & other serious retinal diseases, severally curtailing productivity & overall development.

 This organization has diversification of services - like prevention, promotion and remediation of Eye-related services through regular OPD, in-house treatment, eye-camps, awareness programs, counseling & research oriented programs, etc.

This Institute  also runs a centre of Physiotherapy in which a clinical & diagnostic treatment or Physiological Disordering like Joint-pains,  Back aches, Rheumatism Paralysis etc. is being given at a very  cheaper rates.

All donation to this organization attract Exemption under Income-Tax Act Provision - 80 G crossed Cheques/Drafts to be drawn in favor of 

" Lions club of Kalol Charitable Trust, Kalol " - A/c payable only.
